Hon. Kanaka Herath,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the expected reduction to be made in the number of SLTB depots through the proposed restructuring of the SLTB;
(ii) of the said number of depots separately, as per the region basis;
(iii) whether he admits that a number of depots that provide a successful transport service at present with ample space would be closed down through the proposed restructuring; and
(iv) if so, whether steps will be taken to reconsider the proposed system prior to its implementation?
(b) If not, why?
