Hon. Noordeen Mashoor,— To ask the Minister of Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the financial aid provided by the Rehabilitation of Persons, Property and Industries Authority when an unmarried person belonging to internally displaced family in the country, enters into matrimony ;
(ii) the number of persons belonging to internally displaced families in the Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Puttalam, Wanathawilluwa, Kalpitiya and Mundalama who were provided with such financial aid from 2004 to May 2010 ; and
(iii) the amount of money given to both partners at the marriage of two persons from internally displaced families and the number of such instances of provision of money?
(b) Will he state on the basis of aforesaid Divisional Secretariat Divisions the amount of money given, names of recipients, their addresses, dates of issue of money and the numbers and dates of vouchers from 2004 to 2010 with regard to marriages that took place as of (iii) above and marriages in which one partner was from a displaced family?
(c) If not, why?
