Hon. (Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna,—To ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is a mechanism to obtain the knowledge and skills of the students who have successfully completed the first degree and postgraduate courses in international relations conducted by the Universities of Colombo and Kelaniya for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since they have undergone an in-depth study of the subject for three to four years;
(ii) whether the students who successfully completed those courses have been recruited to your Ministry following the present Good Governance government came into power and whether information about them will be provided; and
(iii) if not, whether measures will be taken to prepare a suitable mechanism to recruit those graduates to your Ministry in the future?
(b) If not, why?
