The Committee on Parliamentary Business which met on January 23rd 2025 discussed the Business of the House for the First Sitting week for the month of February 2025 and agreed as follows:-

NB: The Committee also agreed to take up the Second Reading of the Bill titled “Local Authorities Elections (Special Provisions)” which is included as item No. 2 scheduled for 24.01.2025 in the Addendum to the Order Book, No. 1(5) of Parliament dated 10.01.2025, on Thursday, the 6th of February, 2025 from 11.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., in addition to the already scheduled Business, in the event the Determination of the Supreme Court on the petitions filed against the said Bill is received by the Hon. Speaker, prior to Wednesday, the 5th of February, 2025.
