Hon. (Dr) Nalinda Jayathissa,— To ask the Minister of Highways & Road Development and Petroleum Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number and addresses of the filling stations belonging to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) which were available in the Northern Province prior to the start of war in 1983;
(ii) of the owners of the aforesaid filling stations and their addresses;
(iii) of the new owners of the filling stations of which the ownership changed during the period of war due to the murder, abduction or death of the initial owners mentioned in (ii) above;
(iv) of the persons who subsequently obtained ownership of the aforesaid filling stations and their addresses; and
(v) whether the kinship between the first owner and the second owner of the aforesaid filling stations will be specified, if such a relationship exists among the two parties?
(b) If not, why?
