Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,— To ask the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the date on which the electricity board started to buy electricity from Ace Power Embilipitiya Pvt. Ltd;
(ii) the price paid per one unit during that period;
(iii) the total amount of money paid to the Ace Embilipitiya Power Plant during that whole period; and
(iv) the amount invested by the company that owned the power plant?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the date on which the agreement was extended after purchasing electricity for a period of 10 years;
(ii) the reasons for the extension of the agreement;
(iii) whether the approval of the Public Utility Commission has been received for that;
(iv) if so, whether that approval will be tabled; and
(v) whether all the agreements signed with the Ace Embilipitya Power Plant will be tabled?
(c) If not, why?
