Hon. Susantha Punchinilame,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the reasons for the removal of engineer Mr. M. Krishnaraja from his post who served as the Manager of the Batticaloa Depot of the Sri Lanka Transport Board;
(ii) the financial and administrative progress of the depot from July 2016 until his removal;
(iii) the name of the Depot Manager appointed in place of him and the trade union that he represents; and
(iv) the reasons for the person appointed in place of engineer Mr. Krishnaraja being more suitable for the post of Depot Manager than him?
(b) Will he inform this House whether the administrative affairs of the Batticaloa depot are carried out according the needs of the Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya?
(c) If not, why?
