Hon. Ananda Aluthgamage,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House, in relation to the recruitments made by the Ministry of Education since the Good Governance government came to power up to August 2018,
(i) the total number of employees recruited;
(ii) the designations;
(iii) the methodology; and
(iv) the districts where vacancies existed?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the number of employees; and
(ii) the designations;
of the persons representing Kandy district out of those employees?
(c) Will he admit the fact that when a vacancy occurs in a public institution the particular employment opportunity should be given to the eligible persons living close to that institution in order for the relevant job to be performed efficiently?
(d) If not, why?
