Hon. Kanaka Hearth,— To ask the Minister of Primary Industries and Social Empowerment,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) separately, the total land area of which, minor export crops have been cultivated in Sri Lanka and the number of farmers engaged in cultivation;
(ii) separately, the harvest collected from minor export crops of Sri Lanka from year 2015 to 2018 according to each year; and
(iii) the relief granted by the government for the minor export crop cultivators?
(b) Will he state that—
(i) it is aware that the minor export crop cultivation in Sri Lanka has faced setbacks at present; and
(ii) if so, the reasons are?
(c) If not, why?
