Hon. K. Kader Masthan,— To ask the Minister of Highways & Road Development and Petroleum Resources Development,—
(a) Is he aware that the internal road from Veppamkulam to Silawathura belonging to the Musali Pradeshiya Sabha of Mannar District was constructed by the Ministry of Resettlement and Disaster Relief in the year 2010?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) the dates on which the construction activities of the said road were commenced and concluded;
(ii) the length of the road;
(iii) the villages that lie across this road;
(iv) the institution to which the contract was awarded;
(v) the owners (shareholders) of that institution at the time;
(vi) the amount allocated for that purpose; and
(vii) whether the said road is being used now?
(c) If not, why?
