      Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Co-operatives and Internal Trade,—

      (a) Will he state from July 2010 to date on per month /per year basis—

      (i) the total consumption and the per capita consumption of canned fish ;

      (ii) the total local production and the per capita production of canned fish;

      (iii)  the import content of canned fish ;

      (iv) the value of the import content of canned fish; and

      (v) the real subsidy given to canned fished by the government with corroborative evidence?

      (b) Will he state all the taxes (direct and indirect) imposed on imports of canned fish?

      (c) If not, why?
