      Hon. Thilanga Sumathipala,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—

      (a) Will he state the date on which the Divisional Secretary of the Trincomalee Town and Gravets Divisional Secretariat Division assumed duties in office?

      (b) Will he state—

      (i) the date of first appointment and the place of duty;

      (ii) the grade in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service; and

      (iii) the basis on which the office is held, in respect of the aforesaid Divisional Secretary?

      (c) Will he inform this House of—

      (i) the number of complaints made up to now by the aforesaid Divisional Secretary to the District Secretary and the Governor against Officers and individuals;

      (ii) the number of complaints received by the District Secretary, Governor and the Ministry of Public Administration against the aforesaid Divisional Secretary and the Grama Niladharis of his office;

      (iii) the summary of the complaints received against the Divisional Secretary?

      (iv) the Grama Niladharis against whom complaints have been received, along with their Divisions; and

      (v) the steps taken in regard to the aforesaid complaints?

      (d) Will he inform this House—

      (i)  of the complaint made by the aforesaid Divisional Secretary to the Governor of the Eastern Province against the Provincial Land Commissioner;

      (ii) whether an inquiry has been held in that regard;

      (iii) of the recommendations of the aforesaid inquiry; and

      (iv) of the steps taken in that regard by now?

      (e) If not, why?
