Hon. Hector Appuhamy,—To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will he inform the House—
(i) whether a decision has been reached to install an oil pipeline from India to Sri Lanka;
(ii) if so, what underlying factors influenced the reaching of that decision;
(iii) of the objectives of installing that oil pipeline are; and
(iv) of the effect the installing of the oil pipeline will have on the energy sector of Sri Lanka?
(b) If not, why?
