Hon. Ajith P. Perera,—To ask the Minister of Justice and National Integration,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether the ‘Public Assets Recovery Agency,’ which the policy statement ‘A Thriving Nation – A Beautiful Life,’ promised to establish has been established by now;
(ii) of the amount of stolen assets that have been recovered to the government by the Agency concerned;
(iii) of the number of employees currently working at this Agency; and
(iv) of the amount of money that has been allocated for the Agency from the Appropriation Bill or the Vote on Account presented for the year 2025?
(b) If not, why?
