Hon. Manjula Suraweera Arachchi,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the extent of land owned by the Land Reform Commission within the Nuwara Eliya District, in hectares;
(ii) of the extent of alternative lands that have been distributed out of it up to now, in hectares;
(iii) of the name of each of the persons who have been granted the alternative lands, the extent of land thus granted, the basis of granting the lands, and the periods during which each land was granted, separately;
(iv) whether the list of names of the persons to whom such lands were granted, includes names of any politicians; and
(v) if so, of those politicians?
(b) If not, why?
