Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Economic Development,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which a project for the production of coir containers targeting Samurdhi recipient families in the Panduwasnuwara East and West Divisional Secretariat Divisions was initiated;
(ii) the objective of initiating the aforesaid project;
(iii) the amount of money allocated for that purpose;
(iv) the number of families that would benefit under the aforesaid project;
(v) separately, the annual production of this project since the inception up to now;
(vi) the names of the institutions which purchase those products; and
(vii) the level of progress achieved by the aforesaid project by now ?
(b) If not, why ?
