Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the events for the under thirteen age group have been removed from the school sportsmeets;
(ii) if the events have been thus cancelled, the date on which it was removed;
(iii) the next age group eligible for events, if the events for the under thirteen age group have been cancelled; and
(iv) accordingly whether the students from 10 to 12 years do not take part in games?
(b) Will he state whether a methodology is implemented to check the reports of the special medical investigations prior to the participating school children in sports competitions?
(c) If not, why?
