Hon. (Mrs.) Anoma Gamage,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House of—
(i) the services in which the representation of women is higher in the overall public service of Sri Lanka;
(ii) the number of women in the public service at present who has obtained university education and higher educational qualifications; and
(iii) the number of women in the public service with G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) or lower qualifications?
(b) Will he state separately, the representation of women in the professions of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, the Sri Lanka Engineering Service, the Sri Lanka Planning Service and the Sri Lanka Medical Service?
(c) If not, why?
