Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the amount that had been allocated by the Budget for the year 2013 for salaries of the members of the three forces; and
(ii) the total amount that was spent for salaries of the members of the three forces in that year?
(b) Will he also state —
(i) the amount that had been allocated for the year 2013 for the Urban Development Authority;
(ii) its apportionment for the beautification of the Colombo city;
(iii) the total amount allotted for the workers employed for the Colombo city beautification programme;
(iv) whether an additional allowance was paid to the members of the Three Forces who provided labour for performing various tasks for the beautification of Colombo city; and
(v) if an allowance as referred to in (iv) above was not paid, the total amount spent in 2013 for workers for the programme and the manner in which that amount was spent?
(c) If not, why?
