Hon. Ajith P. Perera,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of candidates who were called for the interview that was held on the marks obtained in the open competitive examination conducted in 1994 to recruit persons to the Sri Lanka Administrative Service;
(ii) of the cut off mark on which the candidates were called for the aforesaid interview;
(iii) of the reason for not calling Mr. L.A. Nimal residing at No. 36 Galgamuwa, Mahagalakandawila, Medagama who sat for the aforesaid examination under Examination No. 01381 and obtained 421 marks out of 850;
(iv) whether he admits that Mr. L.A. Nimal suffered injustice as he was not called for the interview; and
(v) if so, the relief that can be given to Mr. L.A. Nimal?
(b) If not, why?
