Hon. Ajith P. Perera,— To ask the Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a road has been named after Professor Ediriweera Sarathchandra within the Municipality of Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte;
(ii) whether a name board indicating ‘Epitamulla Road’ has been fixed there after removing the name board of the said road in the year 2014; and
(iii) of the reason that contributed to the alteration of the name of the said road in that manner during the year 2014 on which the centenary birth celebration of Professor Ediriweera Sarathchandra has fallen?
(b) If not, why?
