Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House of the number of employees recruited to the public service and institutions affiliated to the government of Sri Lanka from 10 January 2015 to 30 September 2015?
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) separately, of the number of employees recruited to each of the respective institutions during the period mentioned in (a) above;
(ii) of the basis on which the aforesaid group was appointed to the respective institutions;
(iii) separately, of the number of employees recruited on permanent, casual and contract basis;
(iv) out of the group mentioned in (a) above, of the number of employees recruited after 28 June 2015;
(v) of the institutions to which they belong; and
(vi) separately, of the number of aforesaid employees in each of the institutions?
(c) Will he further inform this House whether all recruitments that were carried out during the period mentioned in (a) above were done through a competitive examination or whether it was done through an interview?
(d) If not, why?
