Hon. J. M. Ananda Kumarasiri,— To ask the Minister of Lands,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the extent of land belonging to the Land Reform Commission located in Wellawaya electorate of Moneragala district;
(ii) whether surveying of all those lands has been completed by now;
(iii) if not, of the date by which such surveying would be completed;
(iv) of the acreage of land that has been distributed among the people out of the lands owned by the Land Reform Commission in Wellawaya electorate; and
(v) whether action will be taken to grant land ownership to those who still don’t have legal ownership of land?
(b) If not, why?
