Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether bids were called from Sales Promotion Institutions for the purpose of sales promotion of the National Lotteries Board and the Development Lotteries Board in 2014 and 2015;
(ii) if so, the number of institutions that submitted bids in relation to each Lotteries Board and Lottery, separately; and
(iii) the names of the institutions that submitted bids?
(b) Will he also state—
(i) the number of Sales Promotion Institutions which were called for interviews in relation to each Lotteries Board and Lottery, separately;
(ii) the number of Sales Promotion Institutions which were selected for the purpose of promotion of sales in relation to each Lotteries Board and Lottery, separately; and
(iii) the qualifications considered in selecting those institutions?
(c) If not, why?
