Hon. Prasanna Ranatunga,— To ask the Minister of Law and Order and Southern Development,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) separately, the number of complaints received by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) against public servants, artists and businessmen from 08.01.2015 to 31.12.2015;
(ii) whether the names of the public servants, artists and businessmen who have been subjected to allegations as mentioned in (i) above will be tabled separately;
(iii) separately, the number of public servants, artists and businessmen against whom investigations have been commenced by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID); and
(iv) separately, of the progress of the aforesaid investigations?
(b) If not, why?
