Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of persons selected for overseas training, out of the persons who got through the examination which was held recently to make recruitments for Grade III of Sri Lanka Principal Service;
(ii) of the names and the addresses of the persons who were selected for overseas training;
(iii) of the methodology adopted in making selections for overseas training;
(iv) whether he is aware that aforesaid group of persons who were selected by way of examinations, spending huge amounts of money and providing training, have not been posted by Provincial Councils in a formal manner; and
(v) whether steps will be taken to remedy this issue?
(b) If not, why?
