      Hon. Vasudeva Nanayakkara,—To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine,—

      (a) Will he inform this House—

      (i) how many dengue patients have been admitted to the Kinniya hospital in the year 2017 up to now;

      (ii) how many of them died while being under treatment;

      (iii) is there a serious shortage of doctors, staff, beds and space in the Kinniya hospital as a result of the dengue epidemic;

      (iv) of the steps will be taken to relieve this situation; and

      (v) the fact that the shortage of doctors in the Kinniya hospital  compelling the transfer of patients to the Trincomalee hospital?

      (b) If not, why?
