Hon. Lucky Jayawardana,—To ask the Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he accepts that the Gadaladeniya, Lankatilaka and Ambakke Temples located in the Udunuwara Divisional Secretariat Division are very important world famous ancient places;
(ii) whether he is aware that thousands of local and foreign tourists arrive each day to visit these sites; and
(iii) local and foreign tourists face severe embarrassment due to lack of common amenities in these places?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether he will adopt a course of action under his Ministry to provide common amenities that are lacking in these places expeditiously; and
(ii) if so, in what manner?
(c) If not, why?
