Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,—To ask the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation ,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the cost incurred in installing the signal system of Matara Beliaththa Railway track;
(ii) of the company that carries out aforesaid project;
(iii) whether tenders were called for aforesaid project;
(iv) if so, separately of the names of the companies and the bids forwarded;
(v) of the source of funding for the aforesaid project; and
(vi) whether Railway Department had forwarded bids in connection with the installation of aforesaid signal system?
(b) If not, why?
