      Hon. Mylvaganam Thilakarajah,— To ask the Minister of Home Affairs,— 

      (a) Will he inform this House –

      (i) whether it is admitted that the Minister promised to increase the number of Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Nuwara-Eliya district from five to ten, when the motion to increase the number of Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the district was moved in the Parliament after considering the population and the geological condition of the district;

      (ii) of the current progress of the process;

      (iii) whether there are challenges in implementing it; and

      (iv) of the date of implementation of that motion?

      (b) If not, why?
