The “Vesak Dharma Deshanawa” organized by the Parliament Staff Buddhist Society to celebrate the 2019 Vesak Poya Day was held at committee room no. 1 of the Parliament complex on the 16th of May 2019. Ven. Meegoda Sukhitha Thero of Vajiraramaya in Bambalapitiya delivered the sermon.
Several staff members of the parliament including Assistant Secretary-General Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera participated at the event.
