Ministerial Statements
(i) Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Sajith Premadasa under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 12.09.2025 regarding issues on Teacher recruitment and difficulties faced by medical students and other educational sector issues.
(ii) Hon. K.D. Lal Kantha, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Ravi Karunanayake under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 11.09.2025 regarding issues pertaining to price of paddy and rice.
(iii) Hon. (Dr.) Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs replied to the Question raised by the Hon. K. Kader Masthan under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 20.08.2025 regarding detained a contain of Tamil translation of the Holy Quran by Sri Lank Customs.

Motion at the Adjournment Time
Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Establishment of an office in Sri Lanka for Climate Vulnerable Forum” was proposed by the Hon. Hector Appuhamy, Member of Parliament.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1753 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 22nd October 2025.
